The Final Four is all set for the women's and men's basketball tournament. Let's look at the ladies tournament bracket where the top seeded South Carolina Gamecocks beat the 2 seeded Duke Blue Devils by score of 54-50 to advance to the Final Four in the elite eight.

In the other elite eight matchup, top seeded UCLA Bruins beat the 3 seeded LSU Tigers by score of 72-65 to advance to the Final Four. Overall the Texas Longhorns will face the South Carolina Gamecocks in the first national semifinal matchup then in the second game will feature the top seeded UCLA Bruins vs 2 seeded UConn. In the end it should be the Gamecocks vs the Huskies in the national championship game. South Carolina Gamecocks gets the winning the national championship.

In the men's basketball tournament landscape, it will be all 4 top seeds being featured in the Final Four which is a rarity because there are no Cinderella's or mid major programs are included. This is the best of the best featuring top seeded Florida versus top seeded Auburn and then top seeded Houston vs top seeded Duke. Florida gets the nod due to the clutch play of Walter Clayton Jr who hit clutch 3 pointers as Florida rallied from a 9-point deficit against Texas Tech in elite eight with less than 3 minutes to go to win and defeat Texas Tech.

Auburn definitely is formidable with Johni Broome but Florida should win a close one in the national semifinal against Auburn. The Duke Blue Devils may be playing the best basketball in this current tournament. Houston definitely is formidable when it comes to their defensive prowess because the Cougars lead the nation in field goal percentage allowing:38.2% and points allowed: 58.3. Duke should execute their offense precisely led by Cooper Flagg who won the AP player of the year award and the Oscar Robertson Award. Duke should advance against Houston then play Florida to win on Monday Night the national championship in a close ballgame.

On April 1st 1985,the Georgetown Hoyas faced the Villanova Wildcats where Villanova pulled off a stunning upset winning by score of 66-64 as an 8th seed against the Hoyas who were led by Center Patrick Ewing who were looking to repeat as champions but Villanova had the knack by shooting the ball exceptionally well:78.6 from the field. In the second half, Villanova shot 9-10 which is the highest field goal percentage in Final Four history. Villanova's Dwayne McClain was the catalyst scoring 17 points. This game will always be known as "The Perfect Game."
